1. What OwnPlate is, and who you are agreeing with

OwnPlate is a product of Affectionate Alien Intelligence Inc., a California corporation. "We" and "us" in this document mean that company; these terms are the agreement between you and it.

OwnPlate helps you see what you eat and talk it through with an AI coach. It estimates nutrition from photos and descriptions, tracks your measurements and activity, and suggests plans. Estimates are estimates: the numbers are produced by AI models from what you show and tell it, not from laboratory analysis of your food.

2. Not medical advice

Nothing in OwnPlate is medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. The coach's targets (calories, protein, fasting windows, body-composition goals) are general guidance for healthy adults. If you have a medical condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a history of disordered eating, or take medication that interacts with diet, talk to a clinician before following any target here. Stop and seek care if you feel unwell.

3. Who may use it

You must be at least 18 years old. OwnPlate is not designed for minors and we do not knowingly hold a minor's data; tell us at support@ownplate.ai if you believe we do and we will delete it.

4. Your account

You sign in with Google. Keep your Google account secure; what happens under your sign-in is your responsibility. One person, one account.

5. Membership and payment

• Every new member has four weeks free. After that, membership is a paid subscription (monthly or yearly) handled by Stripe; we never see your card number.
• Cancel any time from the Support page. Cancelling stops the next charge; the current period runs to its end. We do not refund partial periods.
• Prices, introductory offers and community gifts (an Exir is one paid first month given by a member to someone waiting) are described on the Support page and may change with notice.
• Inside the iPhone and Android apps, membership is managed at ownplate.ai, not through the app stores.

6. Your content

Your photos, notes, measurements and conversations are yours. You give OwnPlate permission to process them to provide the service, including sending them to the AI providers named in the privacy policy. We do not sell them and we do not use them to advertise to you.

7. The community

The community map shows members as a heart at city level and a member number, never a name or a precise location. Raised hands show the words a person chose to write. Use the community to help people in; do not use it to identify, contact or pressure anyone.

8. Availability and changes

OwnPlate is young and improves weekly. Features change, and the service may be unavailable at times. We will announce material changes to these terms in the app; continuing to use OwnPlate after a change means you accept it.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, OwnPlate is provided as is, and OwnPlate's total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before a claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Ending things

You can stop using OwnPlate at any time and ask us to delete everything (see the privacy policy). We may close an account that breaks these terms or harms other members.
